The Carlton Wine Room is a comfortable neighbourhood space with a strong wine focus, and a menu to match, finding a home in a 19th century building in the heart of Carlton. The restaurant comprises a ground floor casual bar and dining area, first floor formal dining space, two private function spaces on the top floors and the cellar bar downstairs.

The brief was to respect the history of the building, by paring back the existing interiors to look more simple and elegant. The focus for the restaurant is on usability and approachability, so the space needed to feel relaxed and welcoming.
