Battersea Evolution was transformed for the evening to host the opening gala for the 58th BFI London Film Festival supported by IWC Schaffhausen.

IWC’s partnership with BFI follows a long tradition of supporting film-making projects and demonstrates IWCs passion for film.

Battersea Park was illuminated with a Hollywood guest list including Emily Blunt, Christoph Waltz, Douglas Booth, Natalie Dormer, Mick Jagger, as well as honourees Julie Walters and Stephen Fry.

Guests walked the enormous red carpet before entering the Peter Lindbergh photography exhibition, “Timeless Portofino” for the cocktail reception.

They then moved into the dining space for the award ceremony with Master of Ceremonies Rob Brydon hosting the evening alongside a performance by Collabro

After dinner guests were invited into a hidden party space located in another part of the venue. Designed to mirror the exclusivity and glamour of a stylish members’ club, the IWC after party had guests dancing and mingling until the early hours of the morning.
